Group related packages from the same job together in BidLevel

Projects group packages from the same job together, so your workspace stays organised as you upload and compare more bids. If you're running a lot of packages at once, especially as an estimator, this keeps everything from one job in one place.

What this helps with

  • Keeping every package from one job together, instead of scattered across your workspace

  • Finding your way back to a package quickly, without hunting through the full list

  • Setting up for what's coming next: bulk quote uploads across a Project, Project-level summaries, and better AI accuracy from Project context

How to use it

Create a Project

  1. Go to the Projects page.

  2. Create a new Project for the job.

  3. Add new packages into it as you upload quotes.

Move existing packages into a Project

  1. Go to All Packages.

  2. Select the packages that belong to the same job.

  3. Assign them to the right Project. You can do this in bulk.

Jump back into a Project

The Projects page shows each Project with its recent packages, so you can add a new package or jump straight back into one you're already working on from the Project card.

What's changed

Anywhere you used to type a free-text project name, you'll now see a Project picker instead.

FAQs

What happens to my existing packages?

They stay exactly as they are until you assign them. Go to All Packages and bulk move the ones that belong together into a Project.

Can I add details like a client name or budget to a Project?

Not yet. This is just the start. Future updates will let you add more Project-level information for clearer summaries and better AI results.

What's coming next?

Bulk quote uploads across a whole Project, Project-level summaries, and more metadata to improve AI accuracy on your package data.

Known limitation

Demo packages can't be assigned to a Project. They're skipped when you bulk move packages from All Packages.
