How to: Export your comparison to Excel

Once you’ve reviewed and adjusted your extracted values, you can export the comparison to Excel to share internally or use in downstream workflows.

Step 1: Open your package

  1. Open the package you want to export.

  2. Confirm your comparison table reflects the latest values, including any edits.

Step 2: Export to Excel

  1. Select Export to Excel.

  2. Download the file.

Step 3: Check your exported file

  1. Open the exported spreadsheet.

  2. Review totals, subtotals, and any comments included in cells.


What’s included in the export

The Excel export reflects the latest values shown in your comparison table, including any manual edits you’ve made.

If a value was edited in BidLevel, the export shows:

  • the edited value in the cell

  • the original extracted value as a comment

If assumptions were made on a line item, they are included as comments in the relevant cells.

Can I download to Excel?

Yes. Full export to Excel is supported.

Will my edits show in Excel export?

Yes. Export reflects your edited values. The original extracted value is included as a comment in Excel.

The export format looks different to what I want

The export template will continue to improve. If you have a preferred template or formatting requirements, share them with us and we’ll use that feedback to guide improvements.

Can you export into the same template that’s used within ProcurePro?

Not yet. In future releases, we’ll improve the formatting and structure of BidLevel exports so they are closer aligned to ProcurePro comparison templates.
