Can I edit the extracted prices?
Yes, you can edit the value in the cell and switch items to different types (i.e included, excluded, switch to Qty/Unit/Rate or Rate Only)
What is editing in BidLevel?
Editing lets you correct extracted values directly in the comparison table before you export to Excel. It’s built for the common “the AI got 90% right, I need to fix the rest” workflow.
Does editing change the original extraction?
No. BidLevel keeps the original extracted value and stores your latest manual edit on top. You can always revert back to the original.
How do I know what’s been edited?
Edited cells are visually marked (highlight + corner triangle). Hover to see:
the original extracted value
any original assumption (if present)
when the edit was made
a revert option
Can I undo or revert changes?
You can revert any edited cell back to the original extracted value from the tooltip.
Do totals update when I edit something?
Yes. Totals and subtotals recalculate automatically after you save an edit.
How do I edit a cell?
Click into the cell, if it a value or number you can update it. If it an included/excluded item you can left click and change the Item Type from the dropdown.
Will my edits show in Excel export?
Yes. Export reflects your edited table values. The original extracted value is included as a comment in Excel.
