AI and Data Processing
BidLevel uses AI models (currently from OpenAI) to automate quote comparisons. These models are used by the BidLevel system to extract and standardise pricing data efficiently.
Enterprise-grade data handling: AI vendors like OpenAI are contractually prohibited from using customer data to train their public models. Your business data stays private and is not used beyond the scope of providing and improving the service.
Internal IP protection: Any proprietary information contained in quotes, including pricing structures, vendor details, or project-specific data, is never shared outside your or our organisation.
How BidLevel Uses Data
Secure data processing: Customer data is processed using trusted third-party AI providers under strict contractual and technical controls that prevent data from being used for external model training or shared beyond the service scope.
Secure storage: Customer data is stored in a way that is fully segregated and protected — no customer can ever access another customer’s data.
System improvements: BidLevel may use the information contained in your quotes to assess and improve the accuracy and performance of the system.
Training/Fine-tuning: BidLevel does not train or fine-tune models, but should that change, all training data will be anonymised to remove any contact or project information.
Typical Customer Concerns Addressed
Confidentiality: All customer quotes and internal project data are treated as confidential and never shared outside your organisation.
Data privacy: BidLevel adheres to enterprise-grade security policies to prevent any unauthorised access.
AI transparency: We are open about which AI providers we use, how they interact with your data, and that your data cannot be used to train external AI systems.
Compliance: Our processes align with industry standard enterprise requirements around sensitive business data.
